Started way back when the stones were still soft with analog cameras. Accumulated 15.000+ slides and countless paper pics over the years. Switched to all digital in 2004. Rediscovered analog photography through the curiosity of my children (Daddy, what are slides?) in 2015. Since then, I occasionally use my decades old medium format Zeiss Ikon and 35mm Voigtländer and Nikon cameras. My daughter, while doing the smartphone thing like everybody in her generation, also discovered the magic of analog photography a while ago. So now we are going on "analog safaris" together occasionally. The only drawback is the cost involved - I can remember the times, when a roll of film was to be had for a fraction of the price nowadays ... so, I will stay with digital cameras for 95% of the time (digital files also take less space than developed rolls of films and printed pictures ...) and take my analog ones out only once in a while.
