Irrepressible peonies.

Siberia. Mid June. Despite the unusually rainy summer, ours the peonies bloomed on schedule. Ours the peonies is always impeccably elegant, incredibly charming and dizzyingly fragrant They never tire of surprising us with their beauty. Every year is like a new theater season, new scenes, new unexpected plots, new emotions. Nature is a irrepressible generator of emotions. #Siberia #Peonies #June #summer #flowers #garden

    Dear SUPERULTRAMIKE.
Thank you for your attention, opinion and emotions.
Special thanks for the interesting question. Once upon a time, when I decided to get acquainted with the Kiev 88 camera, it had a Volna-3 80 mm f/ 2.8 MS lens installed on it. I was very persistent, but despite this, the wonderful couple never gave in to me. I crossed them out of my life... Although I think if you take them out of my chest, they will outlive any photographer.
However, our life is very branchy. Skipping a lot, I’ll let you know that I had in my hands a beautiful, almost new, but defective Kiev 60 and a non-working Volna-3 80 mm f/ 2.8 MS. My wonderful friend, a maestro of mechanical cameras, restored both the camera and the lens for me.
One remarkable property of the Kyiv 60 camera is that it is compatible with lenses from the German company Carl Zeiss, produced for Pentacon Six. Another great feature of the Kiev 60 is its bright Split-Image Rangefinderwedge prism.
Even if you are tired red it, I recommend finishing reading, please.
The fleet of lenses from the German company Carl Zeiss, produced for Pentacon Six over the years, is an endless melody to enjoy long time. If your Kiev 60 is tuned correctly, then for some time this melody becomes even more emotional. But...
But as always, some advantages in one are some disadvantages in another. The minimum focusing distance of the Biometar 80mm f/ 2.8 is slightly less than a meter. AND....
And this became a reason to get remember a forgotten friend Volna-3 80 mm f/ 2.8 MS lens. This lens has a minimum focusing distance of almost half as much. Pentacon macro rings are suitable for this lens. And the Kiev 60 camera has a unique prism, simply created for macro photography. What will happen if all this is combined? This is practically the first result:

Since then, many of my six-by-six portraits of the wards of the Goddess Flora have been made using this particular set.
Thanks again for the interesting question, I had the opportunity to tell you my heartbreaking story of using wonderful Kiev 60 and 88 cameras and unique lenses that are like minerals - no two are alike, each is beautiful in its own way, a broken diaphragm is not a reason for divorce... and etc.
Well, It is all, dear friend, is my fairy tale is over... I hope it will be useful to everyone who masters it.

    Dear SUPERULTRAMIKE.
Let me add a few words to what has already been said and... Happiness is not a conquered peak, but a path to it filled with expectations.
And - an illustration of what has been said. PHOTO LOMO GRAPHY is... - perhaps a way of life.
